DESIGN IDEA
Start by giving us a design or an idea of what you require. You can e-mail us your own design or we can use one of our in-house designers to prepare a design for you.
DESIGN PREPARATION
It is standard procedure to print on both sides of the swimcap, but we can print on just one side if you require. We can also print a mirror image of your design on either side of the swimcap on request. We do not print to the ‘edge’ of the silicone cap. We can clean up your artwork and prepare it for printing.
DESIGN APPROVAL
Before your first order goes to print we will show you a visual copy of the artwork for you to approve. You can let us know if the design needs changing or re-sizing.
INK PREPARATION
We stock a range of ink colours for you to choose from including colours like metallic gold and neon pink. Ink is mixed up with catalysts and dried at high temperatures to enable it to cure correctly without cracking, fading or washing off. We always recommend using one of our standard ink colours that we keep in stock so that your next order will be exactly like your first and your swimcaps will always look uniform and neat.
SILKSCREEN PREPARATION
This is included in the cost (unless you are printing less than 25 caps). Here your design image is exposed onto a silkscreen using photographic emulsions.
PRINTING OF THE SWIMCAPS
Finally, the order is ready to go to print and hopefully they are powdered, packed and delivered in time for that big event.
